"Toffee Buttercup"
PATTERN PERSPECTIVE: This pattern design was inspired by the art I have created from the nature that surrounds Calgary Alberta. The drawing method I follow is first creating a graphite drawing of a chosen plant, following a pen, as well as a pastel and a water colour versions. This design reminds me of the high quality design patterns that I know to reflect the brand of Crate & Barrel. I made this design to promote realistic art in common everyday household items, I feel this brings a natural and calm setting into any space. I created this design  with the intent of gearing towards multiple retail industries including kitchen, bedding, living room furniture and decorative pillows, lamp shades, curtains/drapes, wallpaper, and gift wrapping.
"Spring Buttercup"
PATTERN PERSPECTIVE: This pattern design was inspired by the amazing colours spring brings out in nature. I designed this pattern to bring out a pop of colour in a calming way that, promotes feelings of ease and new beginnings. This design reminds me of being in elementary school, when the winter starts to melt and all of the life comes back surrounding the playground. Running around with my jacket tied around my waste, enjoying the pure childhood freedom of lunch recess. I created this design with the intent of gearing towards kitchen and patio products. Showcasing a variety collection of outdoor dinning ware, napkins, decorative placemats, and other outdoor kitchen products. This design would also work well as gift wrapping and other stationary paper products such as journals, stock paper, etc.
